Service Description

IMPORTANT: For all new clients to MLD, book a consultation first. Each Manual Lymphatic Drainage Treatment is approx 45-60mins. MLD offers your lymphatic system support in encouragement of lymph flow through vessels and nodes. A gentle and slow approach, it stimulates the parasympthetic nervous system, sending your body and mind into a relaxation response. Consultation is needed before any treatment plan may be offered or begin. - Well-being suggestions will be advised for before, during, and after treatments. - K taping for lymphatic support for specific areas may be used. - Constant wellbeing to be reviewed at each session so please take notice of any changes, or things you noticed within the 24hr, 48hr and the week after treatment. - It is recommended to receive a series of 4x once a week treatments, to give your body and systems the best outcome. - The next stage may be to continue weekly for another 4 weeks, or to move to fortnightly, monthly, bi-monthly, or three-monthly treatments. Or you may feel that you only need one a couple of times a year, or you may prefer not to continue. - You may need support from other health care practitioners if your condition(s) need(s) more attentive or clinical care. - Most Heart Conditions are a CONTRAINDICATION to MLD as it can put too much pressure/stress on the heart. You may need clearance from your Doctor before MLD is provided to you for your safety and ours as the practitioner.
